"with feeling, with soul" in Yoruba—
a language carried across the Atlantic by African ancestors whose cultural legacy continues to resonate throughout the Americas.
That spirit sits at the heart of The Manana Project: honouring roots, celebrating rhythm and creating connection through arts and culture that are authentic, meaningful and full of soul.
THE MANANA PROJECT CIC
The Manana Project CIC builds on more than two decades of professional cultural experience through OiBrasil! , Cubaneando, and Ballet Rakatan alongside around a decade of self-funded community and cultural projects.
Our goal is to create meaningful access to world arts while protecting living heritage, supporting artist and using culture to straighten connection, wellbeing and community.
A bridge between professional excellence and community access.
Rooted in our specialist expertise in Cuban and Brazilian arts and culture, our vision embraces a wider world of artistic traditions. Through performances, workshops, cultural experiences and community projects, we celebrate living heritage, support artists and make meaningful cultural participation accessible to everyone — while creating pathways for talent to develop and progress towards professional opportunities.
